The Method

Seven movements, one quiet philosophy.

A WeddingStory commission is not a package of deliverables. It is a sequence — designed so that you can stay completely present on the day, and relive every meaningful moment the morning after.

  1. I

    Discover

    First conversation

We listen first. A quiet thirty-minute call to understand the wedding you imagine, the family you are marrying into, and the moments you would mourn if they were not preserved. No portfolio screen-share, no pitch. Both of us are deciding.

  2. II

    Plan

    Months before

Once a commission begins, the studio quietly enters the planning conversation. We exchange notes with your planner, your photographer and your film team — so that on the day, the room contains one creative direction, not three competing ones.

  3. III

    Prepare

    The week before

A pre-wedding rehearsal of the day, on paper. We walk the timeline with your planner, agree on the moments that belong to each studio, and brief our team so that nothing on the day requires a decision from you.

  4. IV

    Document

    The wedding day

Quiet, patient observation. We document atmosphere, conversation, the moments between the moments — never directing, never interrupting. Your only job is to be present with the people who came to be with you.

  5. V

    Deliver

    Through the night

While the dance floor is still warm, the edit begins. Two editors, a colourist, a quiet music supervisor. By mid-morning the first short film is in your hands. A longer cut follows by the afternoon. The full library by the end of the week.

  6. VI

    Relive

    The morning after

You wake up, make coffee, and watch the day back together while every detail is still alive in both of you. This is the moment the studio exists for — the only deliverable in the wedding industry that is timed to memory rather than to the calendar.

  7. VII

    Preserve

    In the years that follow

The archive lives in your private studio space — beautifully organised, quietly indexed, and returned to on anniversaries, milestones and the mornings you simply want to be there again. The film and photographs join it as they arrive.

Stay completely present today. Relive everything tomorrow.
